06/24 LPL/LCK Draftkings League of Legends news and notes

06/24

Notes:

  • I think the EDG/SN game should have a much larger odds spread.

  • Looks like a perfect night for a 4-2-1, lots of slower-paced teams that have individuals that vastly outscore the rest of their team.

Games:

  • GenG (-550) vs LSB (+350)

  • Probably the game I am going to target the most because LSB has given up a lot in their losses.

  • Just do yourself a favor and remove Life from your player pool, he stinks and will let you down even in a win 90% of the time.

  • Players to target:

  • GenG: Rascal, Clid, Ruler, BDD

  • LSB: Summit, Prince, Team Slot

  • T1 (-285) vs NS (+210)

  • The closest game of the night in terms of vegas odds, Nongshim Redforce has surprisingly played well this split but has yet to sweep an opponent in their wins and dropped the series against GenG. T1felt like they were back in form and then surprisingly got 2-0ed by Liv SandBox. Over the past year, you never know what T1 you are going to get in terms of play quality and starting roster.

  • Hopefully, the closer odds drive some ownership off of T1 here, while I Like them to win the match I won't be using them as my primary stack.

  • Players to target:

  • T1: Canna, Cuzz, Team Slot

  • NS: Deokdam, Team Slot

  • RNG (-2500) vs RW (+1000)

  • The Rogue Warriors recently switched their bot lane from Betty and Kaixuan to ZWuJi and QuiQui, while this is definitely an upgrade in my opinion it still won't be enough to beat a struggling RNG.

  • RW may get some ownership in the large field GPP's after seeing RNG struggle since returning from MSI. This is a get-right spot for RNG, if you haven't watched the Rogue Warriors yet they are the epitome of a developmental roster (just watch the Nuguri vs 8917 matchup in their first match of the split if you don't understand).

  • The only worry here would be RNG winning too fast (like FPX has done multiple times).

  • Players to target:

  • RNG: Xaihou, Wei, Gala, Ming

  • RW: Avoid

  • SN (+210) vs EDG (-285)

  • Huanfang makes for a great one-off in large field GPPs, he can get you there even in a loss.

  • Suning has managed to limit the bleeding in losses if I were playing EDG I would limit it to a 3 man stack.

  • Players to target:

  • EDG: Viper, Mieko, Team Slot

  • SN: Huanfeng, Team Slot
