10/30 NBA DFS Notes and Picks


 

Injury Watch/Effects:

  • Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out, so far this season Kawhi has had a usage rate of 37% so look to Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams to see increased usage.

  • Steven Adams is questionable, if declared out this would make Nerlens Noel a cash game lock.

  • The New York Nicks will be without Dennis Smith Jr.,Elfrid Payton, Kadeem Allen tonight, look to Frank Ntilikina and Allonzo Trier to have a nice bump in minutes and usage.

  • Wendell Carter Jr. is currently questionable if out Thaddeus Young becomes a good value.

  • Jaylen Brown and Enes Kanter are out for the Boston Celtics tonight, this boost Marcus Smart and Jason Tatum who is averaging 1.50 fantasy points per minute with Brown off the floor.

GPP Slate Thoughts:

  • Tonight we get the KAT and Embiid match up, with KAT going nuts this year and his price being cheaper he will certainly be higher owned and is fine in cash but in tournaments I am looking towards Embiid who will garner less ownership being more expensive, the last 2 times he has matched up against KAT he has averaged 55 fantasy points per game while KAT has averaged less than 25.

  • Mike Conley is shooting 20% from the field and specifically 18% from the 3 point line, in a pace up game against the Kawhi-less clippers this could be a great bounce back spot for an elite PG that is in a huge shooting slump that has driven his price tag way down.

  • While James Harden has still produced a decent amount fantasy wise he hasn't broke the slate yet, partially because of shooting 2-18 and 3-14 from beyond the arch. If that shot volume from 3 point land continues hes bound to have an 80+ point night soon.
