Injury Watch/Effects:
Kawhi Leonard is out tonight, in his absence expect Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell to get a boost in minutes and usage. Also opens up opportunity for JaMychal Green and Maurice Harkless.
Elfrid Payton and Dennis Smith Jr will miss tonight, RJ Barrett and Julius Randell will see increased usage tonight.
Jeff Teague is listed as questionable and Shabazz Napier is out, this makes the Timber wolves even more reliant on Karl-Anthony Towns solidifying him as a cash game lock for me. Makes Jarrett Culiver a sneaky cheep GPP play.
Derrick Rose and Tim Frazier have been ruled out for tonight's game Luke Kennard and Bruce Brown Jr. will continue to see crazy minutes and usage. Christian Wood becomes a solid GPP play with and the Morris brothers are matching up tonight.
Edmond Sumner and Jeremy Lamb are out. Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis are questionable for tonight's game, if out we will likely see a repeat of last night with the Pacers relying more on Malcom Brogdon and a bump in minutes for T.J Warren and Goga Bitadze.
Setph Curry, D'Angelo Russell, and Draymond Green are out for tonight's game. Ky Bowman will continue to see more minutes his price has caught up to him though, Eric Paschall and Glen Robinson III will hold down the big men duties for the Warriors.
Maxi Kleber is questionable for tonight's game against the Magic, if he misses Dwight Powell will likely see even more minutes and Luka Doncic will have more usage.
John Collins is still serving his 25 game suspension in his absence De'Andre Hunter and Jabari Parker will see increased minutes and usage.
Eric Gordon is questionable tonight, if he misses look to Daniel House Jr. and Ben McLemore to be good values and sneaky GPP plays.
Mo Bamba and Terrance Ross are out tonight for the Magic.
GPP Thoughts:
Lauri Markkanen has had an awful stretch of games and his DK price is all the way down to $6.4K and we know his upside (1st game of the year 62 points) and will be facing a John Collins-less Atlanta Hawks team that plays at a very high pace, personally I love taking a stab a guys in slumps that we know have monster upside (*Cough Cough* like when we played Mike Conley at the clippers and he went for 43 points at low ownership and at a cheep price tag)
One of the more intresting games to stack in tournaments is the Minnesota/ Memphis game because of the pace of both teams and a game total of 224. With so many people questionable for Minnesota we will have condensed ownership on Karl-Anthony Towns and have a solid value in Robert Covington and exciting GPP play in Jarrett Culiver (assuming Jeff Teague Sits), and on the other side of the ball we can bring it back with JA Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. who should have ownership sub 10% because of the questionable tag next to his name.
