Things that stand out to me:

  • Clarke Schmidt is allowing a .338 ISO to LHHs compared to a ,175 to RHHs (target Noda, Bleday)

  • Charlie Morton is only allowing a .034 ISO to RHHs this year while allowing a .224 ISO to LHHs. Boston will have 7 LHHs in the lineup tonight. (Verdugo, Yoshida, Devers, Duran all LHHs with ISOs over .245 v RHHs)

  • Flaherty is allowing a .461 wOBA and .258 ISO to LHHs while only allowing a .068 ISO to RHHs on the year.

  • Chris Taylor has a .571 ISO v LHPs on the year

  • Varland over the past 2 years has given up significantly more power to RHHs.

  • Heaney is only allowing a .050 ISO to LHHs on the year, I would be worried about Tescoar Hernandez who is mashing LHPs this year with a .481 ISO.

  • WAS only has 1 hitter with an ISO over .130 v RHPs this year.
